Social Etiquette

The essence of etiquette is treating others as we would like to be treated – with courtesy, respect, consideration, and thoughtfulness.

And, while these attributes are admired and appreciated in almost all social and business situations, the routine practice of good manners has diminished as technology has advanced and traditional family dynamics have changed.

Overcoming an unflattering reputation for being rude, insensitive, inappropriate, slovenly, or obnoxious requires so much more than knowing which fork to use!

Perhaps you or your family want just a little “polish” for an up-coming event – maybe even a vacation abroad. Or, perhaps you’re thinking about more of an “etiquette make-over”.

We believe that no one is too young or too old to begin working on a ‘brand new ending” and that developing good manners should begin and be re-enforced at home. That’s why we offer sessions with every age in mind, tailored for individual needs, and in settings that are safe, comfortable, and focused.

Topics include:

  • Courtesy and Respect
  • Table and Dining Etiquette
  • Cultural Awareness
  • Appropriate Conversation
  • Personal Appearance
  • Expressing Gratitude
  • Technology Etiquette
  • Social Networking
  • Public Behavior
  • Be an Amazing Host
  • Be a Welcomed Guest

Our three-hour Express Etiquette class is offered upon request.

We welcome the opportunity to empower you with a demeanor of style and grace.
